Dolphins Do Douglas Bay
After all the rain and wind, here on the Isle of Man, we've just had a few marvellous winter days and even though it's a little cold to stand around (as I can certain attest to having spent around a couple of hours racewalking training, followed by watching my son, Terence in two separate hockey matches,) it's been very enjoyable.
I'm not the only one to think so by the look of our aquatic visitors partying in Douglas Bay earlier this week.
One of our favourite pastimes, particularly in the summer is to go out on the Foillan Veg, a small boat owned by the Kelly family from Peel. They have a great knowledge of the local wildlife and will take you to look for sharks, whales & dolphins and birdwatching, for fishing expeditions or just a cruise up and down the coast.
